Today I will be reviewing this foundation from L’Oreal Paris, which was launched few months back after launching their mat magique compact. I have been using this mat magique foundation for a while. I got it in the shade N1 which is way too light for my skin tone because I bought this online and I had no idea about the shades.

It is available in 5 shades– N1, N3, G1, G3, G5.

Packaging is super cute and handy. It has SPF 11 and PA++ but this can not save you from harmful rays of sun. You obviously need to apply sunscreen underneath.

Formula of the foundation is thin but not runny. It can be blended easily. As the name says it all, mat magique 12H bright mat foundation. This foundation is seriously very matte, which is not comfortable for my skin type. 😐 My skin type is normal to dry. When you put this foundation on your skin you have to blend it immediately because it dries so fast. But it blends nicely. Like my skin is dehydrated so I can’t apply this foundation without proper moisturization. Sometimes it can settle over dry spots and makes the skin stretchy. So this foundation is perfect for oily skin type beauties. L’Oreal mat magique don’t fulfill what it claims that it is suitable for all skin type. Well, it is not for dry skin.

I really like the finishing, it is fully matte foundation but still gives a healthy glowy look to the face after application. I apply it with my brush but it’s better to apply it with your beauty blender.

Coverage of the foundation is light to medium. It is not going to cover your heavy pigmentation and dark circles. That is why this foundation is good for everyday use, because of its packaging, consistency and coverage.
