Maybelline Velvet Matte Lipstick | Review

Hey angels! I hope you all are doing well.

So, Maybelline has launched these liquid lipsticks in India and they are quite amazing. Maybelline Velvet matte Lip collection is cream-to-matte liquid lip color. Here’s my review on it-

I was excited to try them out as these seems to be different from other liquid lip colors because of their velvety matte texture. The product claims for the moisturization and matte finish, and yes it seriously works like this. Problem with matte lipsticks are that they make your lips feel tacky and scaly but with this matte liquid lipstick, this is not the problem. You’ll only need one swipe of your lip balm and then line your lips with lip liner. Maybelline velvet matte lipsticks are very pigmented, in just one swipe you can get that perfect opaque color.

It glides on smoothly, and feels buttery soft on lips. Texture is again as claimed very velvety, it doesn’t look glossy. On application, it feels comfortable & after a while finishing looks creamy matte. It can transfer (not completely just a bit of it) on a cup or glass while drinking but after like 1 hour of application it won’t transfer. When it is completely dry, your lips aren’t going to feel stretchy or dry.  It stays on for good 3-4 hours and then it starts to fade but not completely, always leave a tint of color on lips. Now, coming to this shade, MAT 11. It is a beautiful deep red color, which will compliment every skin tone.

Overall, I think this is the best matte lip color so far. Because it doesn’t make my lips feel dry and gives a beautiful semi matte finish. I would recommend the Maybelline ColorSensational Velvet Matte lipstick.
